Clothing and Uniforms...
Uniform Information: Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Girls need to wear the appropriate length of shorts and skirts. It is a good idea to wear shorts under skirts and dresses. No flip flops.
Uniform days are Mondays and Wednesdays (Green and khaki) and Friday (8 Smarts shirts). On your child’s PE day (Friday), please make sure s/he is wearing tennis shoes.
Clothing: From time to time, kindergarteners need a change of clothes. Sometimes 5 and 6 year olds are so involved in an activity, they forget to ask to visit the restroom in time. When an accident occurs, it is helpful to have a change of clothes stored at school. Please send an entire outfit (socks, underwear, pants, and shirt) in a gallon sized zip lock bag with your child's name clearly printed on the baggie.
It is a good idea to write your child's name in hats, coats, gloves, lunch boxes, and umbrellas.
We make every effort to keep clothes clean but learning is messy business at times. :) I give art smocks to protect clothes, however accidents happen! (Note: all markers and paint we use are water based and
washable!!)
